CLEAN – Soil, Air, Water is a broad, multidisciplinary journal with a central focus on the environment. CLEAN publishes peer-reviewed scientific reviews, research papers, and short communications. We are an author-friendly journal, providing a forum for evidence-based views and sound research. We aim to review all submissions, and our evaluations look for reasons to publish, not reject. We are open to a wide range of topics including Earth sciences, environmental health, ecotoxicology, environmental chemistry, sustainability, human-environment interactions, planetary health, and research on soil, water, and atmospheric sciences. Papers should focus on the environmental aspect of their research problem, and we are welcome both fundamental and applied research.
