The International Journal for Numerical and Analytical Methods in Geomechanics welcomes manuscripts that significantly contribute to the analysis of the multi-scale and multi-physics bases of the mechanical behaviour of geomaterials (soils, rocks, concrete, ice, snow, and powders). Innovative experimental techniques, and/or the development of advanced numerical or hybrid experimental/numerical modelling concepts in geomechanics could have a discrete or continuous nature. Papers related to energy and environmental issues are particularly welcome. The illustration of the proposed methods and techniques to engineering problems is encouraged.
