Developmental Neurobiology welcomes original research articles and critical review papers that report mechanistic but also conceptual advances regarding all aspects of nervous system development, regeneration and aging, reaching across the varied lifespans of invertebrates and vertebrates including humans. Submitted work may concern topics of neuro-evolution, plasticity, the ontogeny of behavior, regeneration and repair including the use of stem cells, but also studies of nervous system diseases, for example neurodevelopmental disorders, neuroinflammation and neuroimmune responses. Submitted work may involve a wide range of strategies including genetics, epigenetics, molecular, cellular, physiological, anatomical or behavioral studies.
